Our first big snow...I missed the blizzard that hit Virginia, but Jon was here with Indiana to take care of the house. There was so much snow that Indiana completely sank in it. She liked the snow the first time she saw it, but now the allure has worn off even for her. She hates going out in the snow now. Oh, what to do! Poor Jon spend 1 1/2 hrs shoveling snow in the driveway so he'd be able to get out for work the following day. We weren't equipped with the right tools, so he used a garden shovel. Now we know though!! Although, I hear 27 inches of snow isn't normal for Virginia either.
Special Agent Indiana...Jon had to go out of town for a couple days while I was in Texas and we didn't want to kennel the dog. He decided to take her to the hotel. He asked the desk clerk and they said they'd let it slide. Thank goodness right. Well Jon was walking the dog outside the hotel and the hotel manager came up to him and started asking questions. He asked if the dog was a service dog so Jon went along with it. The manager bought the story thank goodness, so they didn't get kicked out. But Indy played along acting very studious as a Special agent dog.
Clutzy Robin...Pregnancy has made me completely loose my mind as well as any coordination I've every had. I was trying to multitask when coming in from the grocery store. I was on my cell phone while holding a little bag from the store and then needed to shut the car door. Apparently way too much for me to handle because before I knew it I tripped on my own two feet and fell straight backward. (thankfully, back not belly). It must have looked so silly. I banged my head pretty good and got a little whip lash (truly) and a few scrapes. But I just can't believe things I had not problem doing before, now I really just can't do.

ainting the Nursery...Jon did a fabulous job painting the nursery this weekend! It was the first time he's done such a project and did it like a pro! I'm so proud of him! He used the paint I picked out. (It was the same one recommended to go with the begging for Restoration Hardware.) However, after we got everything done and the bedding, rug, etc in the room. I realized the color was way off. I think Jon hopes the color will just grow on me. But the bedding is aqua and brown and the paint looks very green in the room. The lighting just changes the color a lot! Oh what to do. Once we figure it out we'll post some pics!
