Best Gift Ever!!

This Mother's Day was wonderful because I finally got to celebrate being a mother! What an incredible gift! We went to church together and Chance actually slept through the whole service. That's a first for him!! We celebrated the day like our other special occasions, we got ice cream! Can't beat Cold Stone's Birthday Remix. Highly recommend!!
Jon and Chance were so sweet and got me a baby book to record all of Chance's milestones. I've already had fun filling it out! Most recently his two hands have found eachother and he is bringing them together. During tummy time he not only can turn his head side to side more easily, but he also is lifting his head up to look at the mirror in front of him on his play mat! Also, he has discovered Mom's long hair. If it's down he loves to pull on it and really doesn't want to let it go. I think my days of wearing dangly jewelry and wearing my hair down are done for a while.



Can't believe he is already 2 months old. As you can see I finally captured his adorable little smile on camera!! He is smiling more now too, especially in the mornings! It's a WONDERFUL way to start the day...especially when I'm tired and groggy!
