What's new here...

So sorry I haven't been better about posting pictures! Chance as always is a busy boy having fun climbing stairs, riding in his wagon and playing with friends.
Here's a picture of him climbing the stairs. Going up was easy for him to pick up, but climbing down was more of a challenge. He's got that now. We do this activity many times during the day!


Ready for the Super Bowl!! I know the Patriots weren't in the Super Bowl but Chance wore his jersey anyway. Plus he was asleep by the time it came on. But we celebrated with him anyway! Really any accuse to celebrate an occasion is fun!

Chance had his neighbor friends Lochlan, Chloe and Sophia over to celebrate Valentine's Day.


Chance has had a special interest in hats lately. Actually, anything round he likes to put on his head. It's very cute and he thinks it's such a riot! He likes to pass the hat to Mommy or Daddy too so he can see them wearing the "hat." This brings on BIG laughs!






The weather is still too cold for these Texans, but we did have one really nice day! Chance, Indy and I went on long walks and to the park! It felt so good to see the sun!!


After about a month of declining almost all solid foods (except Puffs) he's decided to pick up his eating. His favorite foods are carrots, sweet potatoes, yogurt , bread and most fruits. Hopefully, he'll continue eating for us and he will grow to like more foods. Here we tried some pita bread with hummus. Trying different tactics to get some protein into him. It was a hit!


As for baby #2.... Although, I don't like it when pregnant people complain about pregnancy symptoms because I do think it's a total blessing and joy. I must say I am very ready for my daily ritual of throwing up to stop! The only foods that don't seem to make me sick are sweets and bread. Kinda a problem considering I need a healthy diet now more than ever. Hopefully, it will get better soon though!! I'm just so thankful I don't have to take all the shots I did with Chance! 12 weeks worth of injections made for a sore bottom! I will try to get Jon to take a belly pic soon. This little one seems to be growing strong! Heart beat at the 12 week appt was 166! We will find out the sex in about 1 more month. Then we'll start working on the nursery! For right now I'm trying to get things done for Chance's first birthday party! I can't believe how quickly the first year with my baby boy has gone!!!
